Wagerstation Privacy Statement

The Wagerstation Program:

Wagerstation uses a local database to store information regarding wagers, books, games, scores, leagues, teams, and account information (from the Password Vault). This database is stored on your computer and no information is ever sent from it.

Wagerstation also uses an internet connection, but only as a means of getting data. Much like refreshing a page on a web browser, Live Update works by sending our servers a request (eg. all the games for a specific day), receiving the data, and adding it to your local database. In order to control access to our XML feeds, Live Update performs a login using the username and password you enter; which is similar to logging into a web site. To summarize; the only information being sent to our servers is: your username, your password, and your data request. Wagers, accounts, etc. are not sent and we have no access to such data.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE ID VAULT The ID Vault's contents is understandably very sensitive information and therefore Wagerstation has taken the steps to ensure that this information is protected. Currently all the contents of the ID Vault is encrypted using a very strong, industry standard, 64-bit algorithm. This will ensure that anyone getting a hold of your computer cannot bypass the Master password and gain access to the database file as it is encrypted.

Our Servers:

In order to receive payment and allow/restrict access to specific components, we keep certain information stored on our servers. This includes your: name, email, username, password address and phone number. Payment information is stored remotely at Internet Secure. Information entered into Wagerstation or the Wagerstation toolbar is never transmitted to our servers.
